Massage Therapy

Impact Fitness offers a full line of massage services with all massage therapists certified and having years of experience working in the field.  For your convenience, we will perform massages either in the comfort of your home, office, or gym.

MENU

SWEDISH: Traditional Swedish massage consists mainly of long strokes over oiled skin, and kneading the outer layers of muscle tissue to reduce stress and soothe sore joints and muscles.

DEEP TISSUE: This powerful therapeutic treatment targets the body’s deepest muscle layers and releases tension in overstressed areas. But be forewarned: If this is your first massage or if you don’t get much exercise you could end up very sore the day after!

MEDICAL: Massage in a more focused manner, with the intent to treat a specific injury or condition (Sciatica, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and TMJ, among others.)

SPORTS:
This technique enhances performance, increases endurance and expedite recovery.

PRENATAL/POSTNATAL: Designed to relieve prenatal discomforts as well as reduce water retention, lower back pain and sciatica. After birth, massage will help speed the natural recovery process and diminish stretch marks.

REFLEXOLOGY:
The foot is a microcosm of the entire body. Massaging specific pressure points on the feet stimulates precise parts of the body, relieving e.g. stress, PMS or headaches.

SHIATSU: Eastern healers have used acupressure-point massage for thousands of years to balance QI, life energy. Performed on a floor mat, the client wears comfortable, loose fitting clothes.

THAI MASSAGE:
“Yoga for lazy people.” The client wears comfortable clothing during this massage form. It incorporates stretching, gentle rocking and specific pressure point work.

HOT STONE: Basalt stones are heated and rubbed over the oiled body, then, placed on different parts of the body to enhance the relaxing effects of the stones’ warmth and pressure.
